Forgotten City 2

It is said that man made the Gods. If that were true, then there perhaps never was a city so populated by the divine. Hopes, dreams, hours, days, years, all wittled away in the construction and use of those buildings. But that time was gone, and all that remained was a city full of dead Gods. Those who had once come to work in, live in, or marvel at them had left the city. The structures were now husks of their former glory, as there was no window left unbroken and no color left unfaded. The streets wrapping around the buildings were cracking and buckling or caving, and those signs still visible were no longer readable. Though the truth is unknown, rumors speak of the buildings moaning when caressed by the wind, longing for the care and attention they once had, and the status they had lost.
